By accessing or using SymptomSolver ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SymptomSolver is an AI-assisted health information and organization service. It can use information you provide in conversations, records, documents, media, measurements, and confirmed profile facts to offer educational explanations, help you prepare for care, and create purpose-specific health summaries.

3. Not Medical Advice

THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. Its content, analysis, and suggested next steps are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, examination, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with questions regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information obtained through the Service.

4. Health Data You Provide

When you add health information to the Service, you authorize us to:

  • Store the conversations, records, documents, media, measurements, and confirmed facts you choose to provide.
  • Process that information to provide the features you request, including contextual chat, longitudinal organization, and health summaries.
  • Create temporary or revocable sharing links only when you explicitly request them.

You remain responsible for reviewing time-sensitive facts before using or sharing a generated summary. You can correct or delete information through the Service, subject to applicable retention and legal requirements.

5. Data Privacy & Security

We take your privacy seriously:

  • Encryption: Health data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard controls.
  • Service Providers: We use infrastructure and AI service providers to operate requested features. They may process data only for providing those services under their applicable contractual and data-protection obligations.
  • No Advertising Sale: We do not sell or rent identifiable health data for advertising or marketing.

6. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to generate content that could cause harm if acted upon without professional medical consultation.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by SymptomSolver and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your health data remains your property at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYMPTOM SOLVERS AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF HEALTH OUTCOMES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you may request export of your health data within 30 days.
